The ASP is serving clients in both the U.S. and Canada. User agencies avoid up-front software costs, the cost of a SQL Server, and the time and expense of employing persons to maintain the system in-house. These administrative and cost advantages of Danics ASP Service have been quickly recognized by human service agencies with limited capital and operational budgets. Already counted among Danics ASP clients are agencies that had wanted but could not afford Danics client/server system as well as existing clients opting to convert their existing Danic client/server systems to the ASP arrangement. John Ashbaugh, Vice President and Director of U.S. Operations, is pleased that the power of Danic will now be accessible to far more human service agencies than ever before. Many agencies simply cant afford the purchase of client/server systems of Danics caliber, nor do they have the means to attract and retain good IT staff in-house to maintain them. He alludes to Danics current piloting of ASP systems dedicated to agencies with like needs, area-wide and state-wide, which promise even lower user costs. These ASP arrangements will bring us to a time in the very near future when there will be few agencies that can afford not to use Danic Tools. Danic Technology Inc. is a privately held company founded in 1994. Canadian operations are based in Ottawa, Ontario; U.S. operations, in Boston, Massachusetts.
